A high switchingfrequencyof typically2.25MHzallows the use of small inductors and provides fast transient responseaswellashighoutputvoltageaccuracyby utilizationof theDCS-Controlandtrade;topology.
With itswideoperating input voltagerangeof3Vto 17 V, the devices are ideally suited for systems poweredfromeitheraLi-Ionorotherbatteryaswell asfrom12-Vintermediatepower rails. Itsupportsup to0.5-Acontinuousoutputcurrentatoutputvoltages between0.9Vand6V(with100%dutycyclemode).
Powersequencingisalsopossiblebyconfiguringthe enableandopen-drainpowergoodpins.
